Adepta Sororitas
The Sisters of Battle - Faith, Firepower, and Righteous Fury
Faction Overview
The Adepta Sororitas, commonly known as the Sisters of Battle, are the military arm of the Ecclesiarchy - the official religion of the Imperium of Man. These devout warriors combine unshakable faith with devastating firepower, serving as both missionaries and soldiers of the Imperial Creed.
What sets the Sisters apart is their Faith Points system and Acts of Faith, allowing them to perform miraculous feats on the battlefield when their devotion is strongest. They are equally capable in shooting and melee, making them versatile and dangerous opponents.

- Vehicles: Limited vehicle options compared to some factions
Core Tactics for Newcomers
1. Master Faith Points & Acts of Faith
This is the Adepta Sororitas' unique mechanic. Understanding how to generate and spend Faith Points is crucial:
- Generating Faith: You gain Faith Points when your units die, from certain characters, and from Sacred Rites
- Light of the Emperor: Heal a model or resurrect a slain model
- Hand of the Emperor: Add 1 to hit rolls for a unit
- Divine Intervention: Roll a D6; on a 2+, deny a wound to a character
- Spirit of the Martyr: When a unit is destroyed, they can shoot or fight again before being removed
2. Use Sacred Rites Effectively
Each battle round, you gain a Sacred Rite that buffs your entire army. Plan your turn around this buff:
- War Hymn: Add 1 to charge rolls and pile-in/consolidate moves
- Shooting Rite: Add 1 to hit rolls for shooting attacks
- Fight Rite: Add 1 to hit rolls for melee attacks
- Defense Rite: Ignore AP-1 or improve armor saves by 1
3. Leverage Your Mobility
The Adepta Sororitas have excellent mobility options. Use them to strike where the enemy is weakest:
- Seraphim: Can deep strike and move quickly across the board
- Repentia: Fast melee units that can charge from surprising distances
- Dominions: Get to advance and shoot heavy weapons without penalty
- Immolators: Fast transports that can deliver your units where they're needed

Common Mistakes to Avoid
-
Mistake: Hoarding Faith Points
Solution: Spend them! Faith Points are meant to be used. Don't save them for "perfect" moments that never come. -
Mistake: Forgetting about Spirit of the Martyr
Solution: When your units die, they can still shoot or fight. Use this to get maximum value from every unit. -
Mistake: Not using Sacred Rites to plan your turn
Solution: Check your Sacred Rite at the start of the round and plan your actions around it. If it's a shooting buff, prioritize shooting that turn. -
Mistake: Underestimating your melee capability
Solution: Sisters are surprisingly good in melee. Don't be afraid to charge weakened units, especially when you have the Fight Sacred Rite. -
Mistake: Overextending Seraphim
Solution: Seraphim are fast but fragile. Deep strike them where they can support your main force, not where they'll be isolated and destroyed.
